I celebrate myself, and sing myself, And what I assume you shall assume, For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you. You will hardly know who I am or what I mean, But I shall be good health to you nevertheless, And filter and fibre your blood. Missing me one place search another, I stop somewhere waiting for you. - Walt Whitman, Song of Myself

just when...

just when i thought of going home, buckets of rain began to pour. i could barely see the buildings that lined ayala ave., from my office window... sheesh...

like the other week, just when i didn't bring a jacket (when i usually do), lo and behold it rained and along with it gusts of winds of up to 100kph blew my not-so-sturdy umbrella which left me soaking wet as i crossed the corner of ayala and gil puyat avenue...

have you ever thought of the many just-when moments or in the vernacular.. "kung kelan pa naman..."? that sometimes it really turned one's day from worse to worst.

Stranger!

STRANGER! if you, passing, meet me, and desire to speak to me, why should you
not speak to me?
And why should I not speak to you?
- Walt Whitman, Leaves of Grass (1900)

mad world

thought about the TFF song as i listened to the news on the radio. it's really a mad world.

"...and i find it kinda funny
a funny kind of sad
lalala
...i find it hard to tell you
coz i find it hard to take
when people go in circles
its a very, very
mad world"

politics in the philippines is a circus.

mad world
indeed.
